¾ c. whole wheat pastry flour

½ c. whole wheat flour

¼ c. milled flax seed

½ tsp. salt

½ c. raw sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

1 c. sweet potato-apple butter

½ c. apple sauce

2 eggs, beaten

½ tsp. nutmeg

½ tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp. allspice

 

Preheat over to 350°F and generously coat the inside of a 9”x5”x3” loaf pan with your preferred cooking spray.

 

Mix together the flour, salt, sugar and baking soda. Set aside your dry ingredients.

 

Mix the sweet potato-apple butter, apple sauce, and spices thoroughly. Combine your wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing lightly. Pour your batter into your prepared pan.

 

Bake the bread for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick or knife inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Turn your bread out of the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
